About Tafarm
It all began in 1957, when Dr. Konstantinos I. Tatsiramos completed his studies at the National Veterinary School of Alfort and at the Pasteur Institute in Paris and returned to Greece where he opened his private veterinary practice in the Monastiraki area.
His plan was to provide veterinary services and sell preparations to the developing poultry sector in the wider Athens area, including Megara and Evia.
His specialization in avian medicine together with his expertise and business acumen led him to join forces with his son Ioannis K. Tatsiramos and the establishment of the company in 1975.
They focused on importing and selling veterinary medication, nutritional products for food-producing animals, pets as well as public health products and biocides to their clientèle throughout Greece.
In 1984, the management of the company – which had since operated under the trade name TAFARM – was taken over by Ioannis K. Tatsiramos, who laid new foundations for its modernization and further growth.
Over the years, TAFARM grew through major exclusive collaborations with large foreign veterinary companies, resulting in its establishment in the pet and food-producing animal sector in the Greek market.
This growth was not hindered by the economic crisis that Greece experienced.

Through significant economic uncertainty in Greece , our company completed the construction of privately-owned industrial facilities in an industrial zone. This investment not only significantly improved company’s services but also boosted its competitiveness.
